Sidemount Diver - Basic / Advanced / Technical / Overhead

Introduction

True Sidemount Education - Learn the difference between different philosophies, sidemount history, and configurations. Learn how to configure your equipment, and find out what works, and what doesn't. We'll take you on a 4 day journey that will transform you into an avid sidemount diver. This is a serious programme for serious divers that want the best education possible.

All decompression and technical programmes are delivered by the Diving Matrix team for DiveLife.

Who is this for?

Prerequisites for becoming a Sidemount diver are:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be certified as a Advanced 35 diver or equivalent.
• Have solid buoyancy & trim skills.

Be absolutely stable and in control in the water prior to starting this course.

What Will you learn?

Depending on your background and aspirations we'll teach you that basics of Sidemount Diving in a 2 Cylinder Setup. For those wanting to introduce a 3rd or 4th Cylinder the program length needs to be increased.

We'll give you the ability to problem solve as an individual as well as a team and to dive in a realistic yet safe manner.

Pricing & Duration

This is a 4 + day course, depending on your background and skill level, The first day is spend in the classroom configuring your equipment. The "Open Water" session of this course spans over 3 days and goes from simple in water Tweaks and procedures, to advanced failures and team diving scenarios.
