How does booking work?

Our pool sessions are on Thursday Nights at Irlam baths, and the in-water session will be over the weekends at Capernwray or Delph.

You book your preferred month and we will email you back with our suggested schedule. You are paying for the course deposit only today.

The RAID Open Water 20 course is an entry-level scuba diving course designed for individuals who want to learn how to dive and explore the underwater world. The course provides comprehensive training in basic scuba diving skills, techniques, and equipment, and is designed to help participants become confident and competent scuba divers.

The course consists of a combination of online learning modules, classroom sessions, and practical training sessions in confined water and open water environments. Participants will learn the fundamental principles of scuba diving, including dive planning, equipment selection and maintenance, and underwater communication.

The practical training sessions will allow participants to apply their knowledge and skills in a controlled environment, under the guidance of certified RAID instructors. Participants will learn how to assemble and use scuba diving equipment, how to perform basic diving skills such as buoyancy control and breathing, and how to respond to common diving emergencies.
