Introduction
The aim of this course is to foster an understanding of scuba equipment's function, being able to properly maintain your equipment and being able to set it up correctly is essential for comfortable diving.
The course academic development covers all the basic scuba equipment.
This is followed by a practical workshop on equipment and an optional confined water session for setup and configuration
Who is this for?
If you're 15 or over, and a RAID Open Water 20 Diver (or equivalent) you can enroll in this course.
If you are curious on how to look after your gear better, how to set things up properly, how to keep things clean and maintain it, if you want to know how a regulator works, and what differences exist between models.....well then this specialty is for you!

What Will you learn?
We'll teach you the basics functions of all scuba diving equipment, from different masks to how fins impact your propulsion. We'll cover the function of different types of regulators and how to keep them clean and functioning well. Anything you ever wanted to know about equipment and how to set it up will be covered.

Pricing & Duration
This Specialty course runs over a full day, we generally do this on a Sunday when the shop is shut so we have plenty of time to play with all the equipment.
Course Price: £125 (3 people minimum)
