Adaptive Open Water 20 Diver

Introduction
The RAIDAptive Course is designed to teach individuals with disabilities to become certified divers with the goal of using certified RAIDaptive Dive Buddies to compensate for those skills that they cannot independently perform. The student will be certified according to the following Designations:
- Designation 1 (D1) - The student must be able to perform all skills independently with the exception of Entries and Exits
- Designation 2 (D2)- The student must be able to perform all skills independently with the exception of Entries, Exits, Emergency Ascents, Maintaining Positive Buoyancy at the surface by oral inflation of the BCD
- Designation 3 (D3) - The student must be able to breathe continuously and monitor gas supply. The student will require assistance with all other aspects of diving.
To become a certified RAIDaptive Open Water diver, the students need to have basic swimming skills, be comfortable in the water, and should be in a good overall health, have a mature attitude, sound judgement and self-discipline to follow the guidelines that they will be taught for safe diving.
Medical clearance from a registered diving Doctor is also required
Who is this for?
If you're 16 years or older and have the desire to explore the underwater world this course is for you!
After you've done your Try Dive, and realised that you really just need to get yourself certified as an Adaptive Open Water 20 Diver you are ready to start this Course!
This course is taught to a buddy pair of an adaptive diver and an adaptive buddy.

What Will you learn?
We will teach you the core skills of scuba diving; buoyancy and trim, propulsion, team diving skills, as well as all the ancillary skills you may need under the water.
You'll walk away a solid and confident diver, ready to explore the underwater realm globally. If you want, we'll even supply you with a Long Hose and Wing.

Pricing & Duration
The course price is kept competitive, we charge £1200 for the Adaptive Open Water course for both the buddy and the primary diver. This also includes, your cert and all learning materials, your classroom training, all equipment you could possibly need, 5 pool training hours, and 2 days on a UK dive site.
We generally prefer to take 2-3 months to complete the course, so we can work at your speed.
